I am really loving the course. I always knew Makeup Artistry was the career I wanted to pursue but as soon as I started this course I was able to clarify that this is definitely for me! I love every aspect of this course. The course involves; Special Effects, Hairdressing, Character Makeup & Wigmaking. We also have an Essential Skills class on a Friday morning which is where this blog comes in! I really like the idea of creating a blog as we can use it at the end of the year to reflect on how we have progressed throughout the year. I'm sure there will be sometimes I will be stuck for something to write about and other times I will have loads to include. Anyway, I think we are approx a month into the course, I love Special Effects and I would love to carve a career as a Special Effects Makeup Artist in the future, however, I'm not sure I am the best at this right now! We are currently creating burns and sometimes I feel I'm lacking the creativity and perhaps imagination to produce a realistic looking burn. This could be my own personal judgement only. Perhaps just a lack of confidence in this area. Anyway wont let this affect me, will certainly continue to try & improve in the following months. However, I have more confidence when creating my Tv Makeup & I prefer the final outcome.

Anyway, I am loving the course. Everyone in the class is lovely & I know that this is definitely what I want do continue doing for the next few years, qualify and then take it from there!
